...it's not a secret that i'm a sucker for japanese popculture, and recently i came across the japanese artist kenichi yokono. his artwork retains iconic images of buoyant menace and cruelty, with a twist of contrasting sugary cartoon characters. me like! ps: making me smile monday...

...just found a new favorite vacation destination. the columbia river basin gorge. as the arctic girl i'm, deserts seem so foreign and almost magical. endless rustic fields of dry land, swooping drops of canyons and beautiful rivers, not to mention the local quirky cutesy towns all around....the perfect way to celebrate the 4th...~L

...today 4 years a go jake & i had our second wedding celebration in scandie land, followed by a gathering in oxford ohio were we met...sweetness!!! if we ever re-new our vows, i'm thinking toping it off with a drive-through las vegas wedding.........regardless international wedding bells, check! ps: still going strong...
