...it’s a beautiful seattle morning, the weekend is here, and i'm totally smitten. her name is laura mckellar (www.lauramckellar.com/), she lives in Australia, and she may very well be my new favourite artist. these pieces {embroidery and digital print on fabric… , truly fantastic!} are based on the ugly duckling by hans christian anderson. sigh…!

...we decorated our tree tonight, the same tree we have had for 3 disco filled years. this year i've been inspired by vintage photography, so i wanted to fill the tree with old photographs and glittery fun! bring it on disco-nostalgia!!!

...the 2nd annual friends-turkey gathering was a real success. thanks jess & jonas for being such great hosts. it was a good old smorgasbord of seasonal goodies, followed by food-coma central in true thanksgiving fashion. hope all my american lovelies had a fab celebration!
