...get your hands dirty...

...loving this poster and message designed by roland reiner tiangco. the "dirt poster" is covered with a layer of ink, which you need to "paint" onto the front side of the poster, to reveal the message that has been spot-varnished onto the paper. Awesome! the poster is limited edition and can be bought for $80, kewl! ~L

...fleur fleur fleur...

saturday we got our “dutch on”, and headed to the Skagit valley tulip festival in mount vernon. a cutesy little town invaded by tulip tourist from allover during the month of april. the roozengaarde seemed to be the main attraction, a 30-acre tulip field with over ¼ million blooming bulbs. a few shots from the festivities, just wow! ~L

...finally the weekend, after what seemed like the longest work week ever…looking forward to some rest and fun, and hopefully some more seattle sunshine. wishing i could jump on a plane, and go away for a few days…preferable a trip back home for the weekend. but watching the news it looks like the islandic inferno, is spewing ashes all over europe and especially over my dear scandie-land. just watched rachel meadow, giving a news story on the norwegian priminister being stranded in new york, and his attempt to make it back to oslo, while ruling norway through his newly purchased i-pad. including mr. john cleese visiting norway, having to take a taxi through europe, spending 5000$ on the ride home. So no, i might just spend the weekend in seattle after all. safe travels “strandinavia”!!!
